Rama Ayman

Rama Ayman is CEO of MMG Capital with over 25 years of metals and mining corporate finance, private equity and investment experience. Following a 10-year investment banking career at Bankers Trust (merged with Deutsche Bank) in New York and BNP Paribas in London, Mr. Ayman joined Arcelor in Luxembourg in 2002 as Corporate VP of M&A until Nov 2006, when he joined Hatch Corporate Finance as Managing Director until 2012; most recently Mr. Ayman was Partner and Global Head of Metals and Mining Corporate Finance at KPMG in London prior to joining MMG Capital. Rama Ayman has led over 40 M&A, equity and debt finance deals in the steel sector, raw materials for steel, precious metals, base metals, energy metals as well as industrial metals. Mr. Ayman holds BAs in Economics, Political Science and Philosophy from University of Illinois Champaign Urbana, and Masters of International Management from Thunderbird Global School of International Management in the US.

 

Alain Corbani

Alain Corbani joined FINANCE SA in July 2013 as Head of Mining and Natural Resources and portfolio manager of the Global Gold & Precious fund. From November 2008 to July 2013 he was COO of Commodities AM and portfolio manager of the same precious metal fund. To date, the fund has achieved a 10.5% excess return vs. its benchmark, the FTSE Gold Mines Index, while displaying a lower volatility. Prior to managing the Global Gold and Precious fund, Alain worked for 17 years as a Sell-side analyst and investment banker, notably as Director of Dominion Securities, then RBC Capital Markets prior to founding Green Oak Securities. He has developed an expertise in North American equity investing and financing of mining companies. Alain holds an MBA in International Management from George Washington University (USA).

 

George Rogers

George Rogers is the Chief Executive of Rockface Capital, a specialist in the sourcing and structuring of debt, equity and royalty capital for the development of mines and mining companies. He is one of the world's most experienced mine financiers and advisors. With a career of over 27 years, George has worked with leading mining banks Rothschild, Morgan Grenfell, Deutsche Bank and Investec.

 

Ignacio Salazar
Ignacio is the CEO of Orosur Mining since March 2013. He had joined the Company in September 2008 as Finance Director. He has more than 25 years of international experience in mining and oil and gas (O&G). Ignacio is President of the Chamber of Mines of Uruguay since 2009. Prior to Orosur, he worked in different functions in Finance and New Business Development for the Royal Dutch Shell group living in several countries in Europe and South America. Among others, he was CFO of the multi-billion Shell O&G businesses in Denmark and Germany, in charge of O&G New Business Development in Argentina and in several roles in Head offices both in London and in the Hague (Holland). He holds a MSc in Economics and Business Administration and a Master Degree in Law, both from the University of Deusto in Spain.

 

Julian Vickers
Julian Vickers is the CEO of Natural Resources Global (NRG) Capital Group and Chairman of Natural Resources Global (NRG) Capital Partners, the Group's regulated advisory arm. He was previously Global Co-Head of Natural Resources at Barclays and, prior to this, Global Head of Energy Investment Banking for Citi. Julian started his career with Cominco where he worked as a Mining Geologist and then spent a short period working as a strategy consultant with McKinsey & Company. Overall, Julian has spent 30 years in the Mining and Oil & Gas sectors.
